The El Patron name signals a dressed up Cattleman, and the Grizzly Paw gives it a different grip from the standard. It is chambered in .45 Long Colt, with a 4 inch blued barrel and six rounds. The short barrel makes it quick to draw and easy to carry.

A 4 inch barrel is shorter than the common 4.75 or 5.5 inch lengths on Cattleman revolvers. It gives you a snappier handling revolver, though the sight radius is shorter. For close work on a ranch, or for a gunfighter style cowboy action category, that is a fair trade.

The Grizzly Paw style grip is distinctive and gives the revolver character. It has a different look from the Peacemaker lines most people know. Take a moment to see how it fits your hand before you decide.

.45 Long Colt gives a wide range of loads. Light ones suit matches, and heavier ones suit the woods. As always, follow the maker's guidance on ammunition.

The revolver is listed new and ships to your FFL dealer. The background check is completed there.
