Built for the clock, this Cattleman is tuned for cowboy mounted shooting and fast action matches. Uberti's short-stroke CMS Pro cuts down the hammer travel so you can cock it quickly, and the 3.5-inch barrel gets the gun out of the holster without a hitch.

A short barrel on a single action sits close to the body and clears leather in a hurry. That is why competitors in the fast-draw and action classes like it. The .45 Long Colt cartridge is gentle, with mild cowboy loads giving little recoil and plenty of control for rapid follow-up shots.

The CMS Pro name signals that the factory had competition in mind. If you shoot matches, the lighter feel and quick hammer give you an edge. If you simply like a compact, handsome revolver, it works nicely as a ranch companion or a conversation piece.

Mind the basics with any single action. Load one chamber at a time, and keep the hammer on an empty chamber for carry. A light oil on the action keeps it smooth. It ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check is completed before you take it home.
