Doc Holliday carried a reputation as a gambler and gunman, and this Uberti Cattleman is dressed to match, with a stainless steel finish and pearl white grips. It is chambered in .45 Long Colt with a 4.75-inch barrel and six-shot cylinder.

Stainless steel is a hardy choice that resists rust and wipes clean, a plus for anyone who rides or works in damp weather. Pearl-white grips lend a flashy contrast and a classic Old West look. As a cowboy action revolver, it is fully capable, and the .45 Colt is well liked for its mild recoil with standard loads.

The 4.75-inch barrel gives a good sight picture and balances well on a hip. For range days, it is a pleasure to shoot, and for collectors, it ranks as a tribute piece that still works as a shooter.

Keep the grips from knocks and the metal wiped after use. Load one chamber at a time through the gate and carry with the hammer on an empty chamber. It ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check is completed before you take it home.
