Ruger put the Bisley grip on the Super Blackhawk to tame the kick of the .44 Magnum. This revolver has a 5.5 inch barrel, six rounds, stainless steel construction and can fire .44 Magnum or .44 Special. The Bisley grip tilts back, which helps the revolver roll in recoil.

A 5.5 inch barrel is a good balance between handling and velocity. It is shorter than the hunting versions with 7.5 or 10.5 inch barrels, and easier to carry. The stainless finish stands up to rain, sweat and dust.

Shoot .44 Special for gentle practice and .44 Magnum for the field. The gun is built for heavy loads and has a long record with hunters who want a handgun for deer and hogs.

Many handgun hunters swear by the Bisley grip because it works with a hunting stance. If you have never tried one, hold it at the store and see if it fits.

The price is around eleven hundred seventy dollars. The listing is new. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
