North American Arms is known for tiny revolvers, and the Recluse is a larger take on the idea. It is chambered in .22 Magnum with a 2 inch barrel and five rounds, and it has XS sights. Unlike the mini revolvers of the past, this one has a swing out cylinder, which makes loading easier.

A pocketable revolver with the .22 Magnum is a good companion for a walk through snake country or a day in the field. The rimfire magnum gives more velocity than .22 LR, even from a short barrel. Recoil is mild.

XS sights are made for fast aiming and good visibility. They help on a tiny gun that can be hard to aim. Practice at close range, as a short barrel limits distance.

It is a small gun to tuck into a pocket holster on the farm. It will not replace a bigger revolver for serious work, and it isn't intended to. It is for a convenient, light companion.

The price is high for a small rimfire. The listing is new. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
