Rimfire revolvers are a good way to pass on shooting to a younger person, and graphics grips make them more fun. This Rough Rider carries Don't Tread On Me grips on a .22 LR frame with a 6.5 inch barrel and a six round cylinder.

A 6.5 inch barrel is long enough to give a nice sight picture, and it is easy for a smaller shooter to line up. The weight of the barrel keeps the gun steady. The single action takes a moment to cock, so a new shooter learns to take it slowly.

It is also a fair choice for an adult who wants a plinker. Bring a few boxes of .22 LR, set up targets, and you can spend a pleasant couple of hours. It is cheap to feed and will not hammer your wrist.

The grips are the story here. Some buyers love a bold flag style, others prefer plain wood, so make sure you like the look before you order.

The listing is for a new revolver at a low price. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
