Flag grips are an easy way to make a revolver your own. This Rough Rider comes with U.S. flag grips on a .22 LR single action, with a 4.75 inch barrel and six rounds. At around a hundred eighty dollars, it is a budget buy.

The patriotic look is popular with shooters who like to show their pride. It also makes a good gift for a veteran or for a new shooter who loves the flag. The grips are the main feature, and the rest is a plain Rough Rider.

Rimfire single actions teach good habits. You cock the hammer, align the sights and press the trigger. Recoil is soft, the noise is low and ammunition is cheap. It is a good plinker for a Saturday afternoon.

The 4.75 inch barrel suits many holsters. It is handy for carrying on a farm or in a pack. Wipe it down and add a drop of oil after use.
