Two cylinders let the Cimarron Thunderer CA349 shoot .45 Long Colt and .45 ACP. The first is the traditional cowboy cartridge. The second is the common pistol round found in many ammunition boxes, which gives you extra options for practice.
The revolver has a 4.75-inch barrel, a six-round capacity, and a color case and blue finish. The Thunderer follows the single-action army pattern, with a smooth hammer and fixed sights. The dual-cylinder setup is handy for the shooter who owns a .45 ACP pistol and wants to use the same ammunition at the range.
Swapping cylinders is quick. Use .45 Colt for matches, and use .45 ACP for cheap plinking. The cartridges shoot with a firm push, but the weight of the revolver tames it.
Color case on the frame needs care. Wipe it after use, store it dry, and keep a thin film of oil on the blued parts. Always load through the gate and carry with the hammer on an empty chamber. It ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check is completed before you take it home.
