The Thunderball is a Cimarron single action built around the old Colt Thunderer style, which used a double action trigger on a Western looking frame. This revolver is chambered in .357 Magnum with a blued finish and case colored frame.

The Thunderer was a quirky pistol in its day, and the lightning style trigger and grip shapes gave it a distinct look. Cimarron's version keeps that spirit alive for those who like unusual patterns.

.357 Magnum is a versatile round. You can shoot .38 Special for practice and magnum loads for the woods. Recoil in a steel revolver is manageable either way. For a collector or a competitor who wants something other than the usual Peacemaker, this is an interesting option.

Case coloring brings out swirls of blues and browns in the steel, and no two revolvers look exactly alike. Keep it clean and lightly oiled, and it will hold its good looks. Ask your dealer to look over the fit and function at pickup, and run a few boxes of ammunition through it before you rely on it in the field.

The listing is for a new revolver. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
