Colt's Lightning was a double-action revolver popular in the late nineteenth century, and Cimarron revives the look with a case hardened finish. This model is chambered in .38 Special, a cartridge known for mild recoil and widespread availability.

The case hardened frame brings out swirled colors that show off the steel. It is a showpiece finish and also protects the metal against wear. The Lightning's grip is slim and the gun is light, which makes it comfortable for small hands and long carry. Wipe it down after each outing and keep a light coat of oil on the steel, and it will look good for the next owner too. Fresh ammunition from a reliable maker makes a real difference in how smoothly any lever gun or single-action revolver runs.

.38 Special is a friendly round to shoot. It is accurate, easy to find and a good match for cowboy-action matches that require a mild load.

Whether you collect Western revolvers or want something with a bit of history, the Lightning gets attention. It handles well and looks even better. The revolver ships to your local FFL dealer, and the background check is completed at pickup.
