Nickel plating and hand-style engraving set this Frontier apart from the plain blued revolvers hanging at most counters. Cimarron builds it in the single-action army pattern, and it is chambered in .357 Magnum, which means it also digests the milder .38 Special ammunition that cowboy action shooters favor.

A revolver like this earns its keep in a few ways. At the range, .38 Specials make it a pleasure to shoot all afternoon. On the ranch, .357 loads give you something sturdy for snakes and varmints around the barn. And on a dressy rig, the engraved nickel finish looks right at a cowboy match or on a gun cabinet shelf.

Handle it the way you would any single action. Pull the hammer back to half cock to load, count your chambers, and keep the hammer down on an empty one when you carry in the field. Nickel is easy to wipe clean, but a little oil on the working parts keeps the action smooth.

This revolver ships to a licensed FFL dealer of your choice. The background check is done there when you pick it up.
