Stainless steel Peacemaker copies are rarer than blued ones, and that is part of the appeal. This Cimarron Frontier is chambered in .45 Long Colt, with a 4.75 inch barrel and six rounds. The finish is stainless, which resists rust and wipes clean.

A stainless revolver is good for a rancher or a hunter who spends time in wet weather. It handles sweat, rain and dust without as much fuss. The 4.75 inch barrel is a good middle length that balances well and fits many holsters.

The Frontier is a working version of the single action. It lacks fancy frills, but it works and it feels like an old Colt in the hand. Cowboy action shooters will like the way it points.

.45 Long Colt gives you light loads for matches and heavier ones where the revolver can handle them. Follow the maker's ammunition guidance.

Stainless shows fingerprints, so give it a wipe after handling. The price is a little above a basic blued model. The listing is new. It ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check takes place.
