Nothing else on the shelf looks like the Chiappa Rhino. The barrel sits at the bottom of the cylinder instead of the top, which lowers the line of recoil and cuts muzzle flip. This 60SAR version has a 6-inch barrel, a single-action trigger, and a Nebula PVD finish in .357 Magnum.
Bore-axis design matters most with magnum loads. Because the force travels closer to your hand, the revolver tends to rise less, and follow-up shots come back on target faster. The 6-inch barrel adds sight radius and takes some of the sting out of full-power rounds.
The Nebula PVD coating gives a distinctive color and a tough surface that resists wear. Shooters who like something different from the standard Colt or Smith & Wesson patterns will find it a lot of fun to handle.
It also takes .38 Special, so practice does not have to be expensive. Keep the cylinder clean, oil the action, and follow the manual for loading and unloading. The revolver ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
