Triple Black means black metal, black finish and black furniture, a modern look for a lever rifle. Rossi's R95 is chambered in .45 Colt.

The R95 is built on a Winchester 1895 style, with a box magazine action that can feed spitzer bullets. It brings a stout, modern feeling to a rifle that looks tactical but handles like a lever gun. The black finish blends in at a deer stand and resists glare.

.45 Colt in a rifle gives a different experience from .45 Colt in a revolver. A longer barrel adds velocity, so a rifle can reach out to a respectable distance. It's also a pleasant shooter, with little recoil.

Pair it with a .45 Colt revolver and you have two guns that share ammunition. That makes for easy stocking on the shelf and an easy range day. Spend a day at the range learning how it shoots with different loads, and write down which ones group best.

The rifle suits a hunter who values the lever action but wants a rugged, dark look. It is listed new. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
