Stainless steel keeps the Rossi R95 looking good in rain, mud, and humid mornings on the water. It is a lever action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government.

The .45-70 is a big, old cartridge that was used on buffalo and deer in the 1800s. Today it is a reliable choice for hogs, black bear, and deer at close range. Loads vary from mild to stout, so pay attention to what suits your rifle.

A stainless lever gun is a good fit for coastal hunters and anyone who carries a rifle in bad weather. Recoil with heavy loads is real, so a recoil pad helps. Keep the action clean and it will serve for years.
