A short barrel and a stainless finish make the Marlin Model 336 Trapper a handy deer rifle for the brush. It is a lever action in .30-30 Winchester, with a barrel just over 16 inches and a five round capacity, wearing a wood laminate stock.

The .30-30 is the classic whitetail cartridge for thick timber. A short rifle swings through tight cover without hanging up on limbs. Stainless steel means the rifle can take rain and wet snow without worry.

The laminate stock resists warping. This is the kind of rifle that sits behind the seat of a truck for years and still works the day you need it. Mount a scope or use the open sights.

It ships to the FFL dealer you name. The dealer runs the background check and hands it over once you clear it. If a detail matters to your decision, send a question first and compare the answer with the photos. Give the photos a slow look at full size; they show finish and wear better than any paragraph can.
