Henry builds the SPD Hush as a hunting oriented lever carbine in .45 Long Colt. It has a 16.5 inch barrel, seven rounds and a black finish.

A .45 Long Colt carbine is a close range deer and hog gun. The cartridge throws a heavy bullet at modest speed, which is right for thick woods and short shots. Recoil is mild, so you can place a follow up shot quickly.

Sixteen and a half inches is a handy length. It is short enough to carry in a truck and in a blind, yet long enough to give decent velocity. Black finish keeps glare down in the woods.

The price is high, which fits a special edition from Henry. It is a rifle for a hunter who wants a modern lever carbine with some novelty. A good holster or sling, a soft case and a light coat of oil after each outing will keep it looking and working well for years.

Pair it with a revolver in .45 Long Colt and you have two guns that share ammunition. The listing is new. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
