Henry's Color Case Hardened Big Boy is the dressy cousin of the standard Big Boy. This one is chambered in .357 Magnum, has a side gate for loading and carries a color case hardened receiver.

A side gate is an improvement over the old magazine tube loading system. You push cartridges into the receiver instead of feeding them through the end of the tube. It is faster, simpler and works well in the field.

.357 Magnum, with .38 Special in the same rifle, gives you a mix of mild and strong loads. Plinking is cheap with .38 Special. Deer in light cover, hogs and coyotes are fair game with magnum loads at moderate range.

The color case hardened receiver gives the rifle a classic look. Colors vary from one gun to the next. Spend a day at the range learning how it shoots with different loads, and write down which ones group best.

This is a rifle that would look fine over a mantel and shoot just as well. The listing is for a new rifle. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
