Brass receiver, blued octagon barrel, walnut stock, and a large loop lever: this Big Boy has most of the features that make a Henry lever gun look the part. It is chambered in .45 Long Colt and holds ten rounds.

The large loop lever leaves room for a gloved hand, and the octagon barrel is 20 inches long, which gives a steady hold and a bit of extra velocity from the .45 Colt. Brass adds weight to the receiver and a warm color that deepens with age. The finish combination gives it an old-time look that stands apart from plain blued rifles.

In the field, it works for hogs and deer at moderate ranges where state rules allow. At a cowboy match, it pairs with a .45 Colt revolver and keeps your ammunition list short. The ten-round tube gives long stage capacity, and the lever runs smoothly.

Care for the brass with a soft cloth, and keep the steel lightly oiled. Wipe the barrel after wet days. The rifle ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there before you take it home.
