Chiappa's Bushranger is a rimfire lever rifle with a wood stock and a blued finish. It is chambered in .22 LR.

Rimfire lever rifles are good for small game, plinking and teaching. The Bushranger does all of those at a fair price. Recoil is so light that a youngster can shoot comfortably, and the cost per shot is low. A lever action adds some old fashioned fun.

Wood and blued steel make a classic look. You can mount a scope on most rimfire levers if you'd like to stretch the range. Keep the gun clean and oiled and it should last through many seasons.

For a rancher, it is a good tool to keep around for pests. For a hunter, it's a quiet way to go after squirrels and rabbits. For a family, it's a good gun to share at the range. Spend a day at the range learning how it shoots with different loads, and write down which ones group best.

The price is a bit over five hundred thirty dollars. The listing is new. It ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
