Browning's BLR has been a favorite for those who want a lever action that takes pointed bullets. This Lightweight PG model combines a pistol grip, wood stock and stainless steel. The listing's name carries a caliber code of 22-25, which most likely points to a .22-250 chambering, so confirm the cartridge with the dealer before you order.

If it is a .22-250, you have a fast, flat shooting varmint round. Coyotes, groundhogs and prairie dogs at long distance are its game. A lever gun with a detachable magazine in that chambering is unusual and fun to carry across a pasture.

Stainless steel resists weather, and walnut or wood gives a warm feel. The Lightweight tag suggests a trim rifle that is not tiring to carry on a long walk.

Ask your dealer if you have any questions. Spend a day at the range learning how it shoots with different loads, and write down which ones group best.

The listing says new. It ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check takes place.
